The SMS Alarm functionality allows for any external input type, Analogue, Digital or Pulse, to trigger an SMS alarm to any mobile phone number. The configuration of the inputs allows the end user to trigger an Alarm or Event with specific control, like when an event first starts to occur (rising edge) or when the event stops (falling edge) or trigger an SMS once only within a defined period, when the event starts. This gives the user enormous control over the meaning of each SMS as well as control of the costs attributed to SMS. The User can define the message that goes with each Alarm or Event and can loop the external input to trigger the internal Relay Output to control an external asset whilst issuing the SMS.
