4G MIMO Antennas

4G MIMO Antennas

4G uses a technology called MIMO, which means ‘Multiple Input Multiple Output’ – this is where your modem uses two separate antennas at once to deliver super fast speeds. MIMO technology allows the device to dynamically configure multiple signal paths to the tower in order to optimise transmission and reception. When a 4G modem is used in a 4G coverage area and the 4G signal is strong enough, the modem will usually switch to MIMO mode, resulting in faster data speeds.
